Have been a Consultant Histopathologist since 2009, working at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, mainly interested in gynaecological pathology, as well as supporting some diagnostic services in the areas of dermatopathology, cytology (both cervical and diagnostic) and gastrointestinal pathology. I cover 50% of the regional and local gynae oncology multidisciplinary team meetings, as the University Hospital of Wales is a tertiary referral centre and is the regional Cancer Centre for South East Wales. I have contributed to research projects over the years (such as in the fields of vulvar pathology) and have been a contributory to case reports and I am a co-author on a chapter in a book on the pathology of the uterus, that should be published in the near future. I am also Chair of a Royal College of Pathologists Working Group on updating a document with regards to recommended workload points for job planning and staffing purposes.
